New lacto-ovotasting menu and boutique bourbons!

Textile is proud to announce our new Lacto-Ovo tasting menu, 5 courses with optional wine flight! We have also just finished construction on our new private dinning room with seating for up to 25 of your closest friends or family....and last but certainly not least we have just added 7 new “Boutique” bourbons to our already extensive collection.

I was pulled over by a police officer for speeding. It was frustrating and I griped to the officer about the situation. I handed him my license and he told me that he did not like squab. He then gave me back my license and my ticket. While the ticket is a pain it was deserved. I now have a greater respect for the Houston Police department.

While in Stockholm I visited some of the best public markets. The Chantrelles were plentiful as you can see by the photo. They almost look too perfect...too good to be true if you will. I wonder if the Swedes have managed to cultivate chantrelles?

I Love Bone Marrow!

I love bone marrow. We marinate the marrow in a high quality red Miso and then serve it a “faux rye bone”. Adding Asian ingredients to this dish really makes a difference. It does not come off as a fusion dish. Check out fresh and wild for their awesome Asian ingredients. www.freshwild.com
